How can we help you?
If you choose to join our volunteering program, you will have the possibility to get in contact with a different culture from which you could learn a lot.
We cannot support you from the economic point of view: the travel will be at your expense; you can find one or more sponsors who can support you as far as the costs of the living expenses (accommodation and food) are concerned. Accommodation and food are at the Mission Home of Emmaus Foundation.

How can you help us?
Your skills in Uganda could be the added value to our projects. Your skills will become the opportunity for the children and families in Uganda to meet people like you who are there to stay with them, sharing time, energy, professionalism and most of all cultural awareness.
During your volunteering experience it very important that your heart is always open to the acceptance of diversity.
Community life is a very important value for the mission home and for the Ugandan culture. We ask you to respect it and be part of it enthusiastically.

UCSC Charity Work Program

The UCSC Charity Work Program is a voluntary program activated in 2009 by the Centro di Solidarietà Internazionale (CeSI) of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. Thank to this program 274 scholarship have been promoted so far, addressed to all the students of the University, that offer the possibility to live an international voluntary experience in different organization all over the world.
Fondazione Italia Uganda Onlus is a historical partner as far as the UCSC Charity Work Program in the Benedict Medical Centre is concerned. Indeed, the BMC clinic has received Medicine students of the Università Cattolica of Rome since 2009.
In August 2017 the Charity Work Program has started also in the Bishop Cipriano Kihangire Nursery and Primary School.
